as part of an editorial design i produced a zine that explores relationships between typography and music genres. the grid system is highly variable due to diagonal and vertical dividers. both volumes are based on the same layout grid, yet achieve a completely different look and feel. the first one covers the punk movement and its iconic use of various traditional and diy fonts, while the second one focuses on 90s hip hop culture and typography in north america.
